Short answer: algae and green growth on façades are removed with stone clear AR 50 Algae and Moss Remover: mix 1 litre with 3 litres of water, saturate the dry or slightly damp surface using a sprayer or roller – and leave the rest to the weather. The rain does the cleaning, and the surface becomes visibly brighter over weeks and months. Important: AR 50 must not be used on roofs, patios, paths, squares or roads.
Where AR 50 may be used
- Yes: façades and vertical surfaces made of natural stone, concrete, ceramics, glass and plastic, house fronts, walls, wooden fences.
- No: roofs, patios, storage areas, roads, paths and squares, as well as embankments and verges along roads and railway lines.

Instructions
- Check the weather: do not work in rain or direct sunlight.
- Protect the surroundings: cover windows, painted surfaces and plants. Immediately wash off splashes on painted surfaces with plenty of water.
- Mix the solution: 1 L AR 50 to 3 L of water.
- Apply: wet evenly and thoroughly using a sprayer such as the RG 964 Pressure Sprayer or a roller.
- Leave to act: do not rinse – the weather does the rest. Repeat periodically if necessary.
Coverage: 10 L of working solution for approx. 80–120 m². Wear safety goggles and protective gloves.
Why not just use a pressure washer?
High pressure only removes algae superficially, roughens soft stone and render and can wash out joints. The rough surface then often turns green again even faster. AR 50, by contrast, works gently and deep down.

How long does it take for the façade to be clean?
AR 50 works by itself. The improvement becomes visible over weeks and months – depending on the weather and the degree of soiling.
Can I use AR 50 on my patio?
No. Use on patios, paths, squares and roofs is not permitted.
Is AR 50 suitable for wooden fences?
Yes, wooden fences are expressly listed as an application surface. If in doubt, test in an inconspicuous spot.
