OE 68 Oil and Stain Paste

The stain paste against oil and grease stains on stone. For removing oily and greasy stains from all stone surfaces such as marble, granite, natural and engineered stone, porcelain stoneware, ceramics, cotto, cement slabs and interlocking pavers indoors and outdoors – e.g. on kitchen worktops, terraces, barbecue areas, forecourts or driveways. Plasticiser migration and organic and inorganic stains can also be removed effectively.

The special composition of the paste absorbs a great deal of dirt through the “blotting paper effect” as it dries: the oil is drawn out of the pores of the stone.

Directions

  1. Spread the paste undiluted onto the stain and work it into the pores.
  2. Apply a layer approx. 3 mm thick with a spatula.
  3. Depending on the temperature, leave to dry for approx. 12–24 hours.
  4. Wipe off the dry paste. For old stains, a second application may be needed.
  5. Wash the surface with water and stone clear GR 75 Special Deep Cleaner.

Coverage: 1 kg for approx. 0.35 m² (3 mm layer).

If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area. Wear safety goggles and protective gloves. Wash splashes on painted surfaces off immediately with water.

Prevention: After cleaning, seal with SI 88 Stain Stop Aqua (natural stone) or SB 55 Stone Protection (concrete, interlocking pavers outdoors).
