SI 86 Natural Stone Stain Stop
Stain protection for absorbent natural stone: SI 86 is a special silicone-based oil-, grease- and water-repellent protective sealer for moderately to highly absorbent natural and engineered stone. It reduces susceptibility to soiling and staining, is harmless to health and food-safe. Routine cleaning becomes easier and stone surfaces stay attractive for longer.
Directions
- Only treat clean, thoroughly dry surfaces (5–25 °C).
- Apply undiluted with a brush, roller or cloth.
- If necessary, apply a second coat within approx. 20 minutes.
- After approx. 10 minutes, remove excess material and buff off residue by machine or with a cloth.
Full protection is reached after approx. 24 hours.
Coverage: 1 L for approx. 20–25 m².
Notes: Wear respiratory protection and ventilate well; keep food away during application. Application by a specialist company is recommended. Water-based alternative: SI 88 Stain Stop Aqua.
