Short answer: for daily cleaning of quartz composite (Silestone, Caesarstone, Cambria, Quarella, Zodiac, etc.), the spray cleaner stone clear UR 25 is suitable: spray on and wipe with a soft cloth, streak-free. For burnt-on crusts, limescale marks and grease residues, rub in the special cleaner QR 72 undiluted with light pressure and a microfibre cloth, rinse with water and finish with UR 25.
Quartz composite is not natural stone
Quartz composite (engineered stone) consists of quartz sand bound with resins. It is very dense and robust but needs its own care products. Aggressive or solvent-heavy cleaners can damage the surface.
Guide: daily cleaning
- Spray UR 25 undiluted onto the worktop.
- Wipe with a dry, soft cloth or kitchen paper – e.g. with the RG 960 Microfibre Towel.
UR 25 dissolves oil and grease residues and cleans 100 % streak-free – also on glass-ceramic hobs. 500 ml is enough for approx. 50–70 m².
Guide: thorough cleaning with QR 72
- Test in an inconspicuous spot first – QR 72 is slightly abrasive.
- Apply QR 72 undiluted to the surface.
- Rub in with light pressure using the RG 960 microfibre towel.
- Repeat until you get the desired result.
- Rinse with water and finish streak-free with UR 25.
